Why Records

Visual inspection and handwritten reports can't win a dispute.

When a buyer claim comes in on fabric that was fine at shipment, you can't tell which roll the defect came from - so you argue without evidence and end up paying. With inspection that relies only on the human eye, this repeats.

You can't see the whole roll

Visual and sample inspection can't cover the whole roll. "That defect wasn't in our inspection" doesn't hold without a record.

You can't prove the timing

A handwritten inspection report has no timestamp or original photos to prove the condition at shipment.

You don't speak the buyer's language

Frequently asked questions

AutoBrics is the platform that captures, reads, organizes, and learns from inspection data for roll materials such as fabric, paper, and film. It's installed on the line together with the AutoVision unit, and deployment terms are confirmed after we see your site.

Can I use the software without the hardware?

No. AutoBrics reads and organizes images captured by the AutoVision unit, so it's installed together with it. The unit attaches to your existing inspection machine or line, and screens and reports are viewed on the PC beside the line and in a browser.

Does it work in a factory without internet?

Inspection and reading happen on the unit beside the line, so it runs without internet. Viewing reports from outside or combining several plants requires a connection, which we confirm during the site survey in line with your security policy.

Can we use our own names for defects?

Yes. Defect types can be named and edited using the terms your floor uses. The names your inspector assigns on the screen are used as-is in reports and certificates.

What form do the reports take?

A per-roll inspection report (defect position map, type, size, 4-Point score) and a LOT summary report. They can be exported as PDF and sent to buyers; integration with in-house systems such as ERP or MES is proposed after confirming requirements during the site survey.

Who owns the inspection data?

Images and inspection records captured on your line are your assets. The scope of data use is set in writing in the contract, and nothing is shared externally.
